Because BM Studio Inc reserves production capacity and may incur project-specific costs before delivery, refund eligibility depends on the timing of cancellation and work already performed. Any project agreement with different written terms will control.
Photography and production bookings
Clients may cancel by emailing info@bmstudios.us. Cancellations received more than seven calendar days before a scheduled production date may receive a refund of amounts paid, less non-refundable deposits, completed pre-production work, processing costs and third-party commitments. Cancellations received within seven days of production may be charged up to 50% of the professional fees plus all committed expenses. Cancellations within 48 hours, no-shows, or cancellations after production begins may be charged the full agreed amount.
Research and polling engagements
Before research work begins, a client may request cancellation and a refund less any non-refundable deposit or committed third-party cost. After survey design, recruitment, data acquisition, fieldwork, analysis or reporting begins, refunds are limited to the unearned portion of fees after deducting work completed and non-cancellable expenses.
Deposits and third-party expenses
Deposits are used to reserve dates and resources and are non-refundable unless a proposal expressly states otherwise. Talent, locations, permits, travel, equipment rentals, media, printing, respondent incentives, data, software and vendor commitments are non-refundable once purchased or contractually committed.
Rescheduling
One rescheduling request made at least seven days before production may be accommodated without an additional professional rescheduling fee, subject to availability. Non-recoverable expenses and vendor change fees remain payable. Weather-dependent outdoor productions may be rescheduled by mutual agreement.
Service concerns
If delivered files are corrupted, incomplete, or materially inconsistent with the agreed scope, notify us within seven calendar days of delivery with a clear description of the issue. We will review the request and, where appropriate, correct, replace or re-perform the affected portion. Creative preference alone is not a defect when work conforms to the approved brief.
Approved refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, generally within 7–10 business days after written approval. Financial institutions may require additional processing time.
